I’m in love with my slow cooker, and am constantly trying to think of new things to make in it. Recently I decided to try Gimme Some Oven‘s take on the Japanese classic dish, and I was fairly impressed!
I can tell you that this was super satisfying and relatively easy to make! It was really rich and would make a great BBQ style pulled-chicken sandwich with some cabbage slaw. Serving it up with some fresh scallions and toasted sesame seeds rounded out the flavor, and the aroma of warm jasmine rice underneath was a nice, hearty finish.
